We invite you to participate in the space hackathon “Infrastructure & smart cities” carried out on November 19-21 this year by POLSA as part of the SUN (Space Hubs Network) project. The event is aimed at students, programmers, engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs.
The task of the participants will be to use satellite technologies to solve a specific problem related to the infrastructure and functioning of cities.
Hackathon goals:
- Presenting the impact of the space sector on the everyday life of residents to a wider audience
- Introducing the audience to the social and economic potential of the space industry
- Encourage entrepreneurs and SMEs from various industries to use satellite data.
- Presentation of the possible impact of the space sector on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.
- The Space Hubs Network project (SUN for short) has been implemented by the Polish Space Agency since 2020 as part of a consortium financed by funds allocated from the Horizon 2020 framework program of the European Commission.
