The activity is split into two contractual phases. The objective of the first phase is to design, manufacture and test a single-chip multi-channel RX front-end(s) for an active antenna compliant with the specifications described. Single-chip RFIC shall provide: \u00b7Parallel wideband reception (at least 4 independent RX paths) \u00b7 Coverage of L, C and X bands \u00b7 Wideband LNA with selectable output towards an off-chip bandpass filter \u00b7 Selectable image rejection down-conversion \u00b7 Selectable track and hold down-conversion \u00b7 Selectable VCO for LO generation, with frequency divider for an off-chip PLL and selectable daisy chain output \u00b7 Selectable direct LO feed input for array configuration \u00b7 Self-calibration capability \u00b7 Digital control and monitoring After successful performance validation, the second contractual phase will be initiated: the RFIC shall be assembled in a suitable package and preliminary space evaluation testing shall be performed in order to demonstrate component robustness for use in space application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
