This activity will continue the activity P3-SST-XII by acquiring a sufficient data set from European sensors. This data is needed to support further development of the data processing chain and the related end-to-end functionality test and validation. A larger testing (“endurance testing”) during selected limited time periods is being planned. All sensor types including radar, passive optical and laser ranging, will be considered. It is intended to run the activity as single procurement involving a larger set of different and distributed sensors. Support from the SST Expert Centre for optical and laser observations will be considered for efficient networking. Where needed, the activity will also address further development of advanced sensor data processing techniques, data correlation and tracklet formation and association, orbit determination, and data fusion approaches, such as in particular stare-and-chase approaches for efficient handover between sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
