Throughout the life time of ESA mission, i.e. From conceptual design (Phase-0) till end of mission (Phase-F), an enormous amount ofdata is generated in each of the phases stemming from theoretical analyses, numerical simulations, ground experiments and flights For a thorough overall evaluation, these data sets need to be revisited to assess the achieved performances with respect to the envisaged and predicted values, in order to evaluate the uncertainties and their origin and finally to indicate how to increase the fidelity and design iterations for follow-up missions. The provision of needed criteria, uncertainties, figures of merits Throughout the different phases of a Space mission require tedious extraction and manipulations from large datasets with different formats. This isvery time consuming and prone to errors. The proposed toolset shall extract these data in an automatic way while the user still hasthe capability to adapt the data manipulation. A generic open-source tool shall automatically extract the necessary custom-defined engineering values from various disciplines stemming from a very large dataset. These practical engineering values, needed for quickverification and/or evaluation of designs and performances, require complex data manipulation which otherwise are very labour intensive, impractical or out-of-reach. Its application shall furthermore assist in quickly assessing and alerting when particular engineering criteria pass critical thresholds or in supporting go/no-go decisions throughout the life-time of a Space mission. This activity encompasses the following tasks: – defining the input data and formats and the needed output data (e.g. Uncertainties, figures ofmerit, criteria values….) Along with the algorithms, search criteria and extraction methodologies – construct the overall architecture of the toolset – implementation of the different elements – validate proof-of concept of the toolset – generating automatically reports according to a prescribed format Software shall be delivered under an ESA Software Community Licence, so that any individuals or entities within ESA Member States can access to it and can provide update to the community of users.
